Terms of Service

The service

CodeLink is operated by CodeLink Consulting LLC. It provides an editorial catalogue of businesses, detailed case studies and tools for exploring small business ideas. By using CodeLink or purchasing membership, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Research and evidence

Our case studies are educational editorial work. They are not financial, legal, employment or investment advice. We distinguish sourced facts, dated founder claims, unknown information and hypothetical experiments. Historical revenue does not establish current revenue or profit. Illustrative economics are assumptions, not promised results. Inclusion does not imply endorsement or a relationship with the featured business. Verify facts independently before making decisions.

Accounts

Provide an accurate email address and protect your sign-in credentials. Email/password accounts require verification. Google sign-in requests only your basic name, email and profile information. Do not share a paid account, impersonate someone, defeat access controls or use the service to send spam or malicious content.

Free and Pro membership

Free accounts can save businesses and read designated sample cases. Pro unlocks all published cases, advanced filters, comparisons and research views. We may correct, update or remove entries; we do not promise a particular number of future additions.

Pro costs US$12 per month or US$99 per year, as selected at checkout. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown before purchase. There is no free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected interval until cancelled. Stripe processes payments and hosts checkout and billing management. CodeLink does not store card numbers.

Cancellation, refunds and account deletion

Cancel through Settings → Billing → Manage billing. Scheduled cancellation stops renewal and normally preserves access through the paid period. Changing billing intervals through Stripe may create prorated charges or credits shown in its billing flow.

Refund requests are reviewed individually at support@codelink.ai. We do not offer an automatic money-back guarantee. A full refund of the current membership payment can remove paid access. These terms do not limit refund or cancellation rights that applicable law provides.

Account deletion requires a recent sign-in. CodeLink cancels its subscriptions before removing the account; if cancellation cannot be confirmed, deletion stops so you can retry or contact support. Deletion ends access immediately and does not itself create a refund. Stripe may retain transaction records separately.

Content and acceptable use

Our original editorial content belongs to CodeLink Consulting LLC. Featured business names, trademarks, screenshots and linked source material belong to their respective owners. You may use the research for personal learning and your own business planning. Do not resell our paid case library, redistribute it in bulk or use automated access to bypass membership restrictions.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but external sources and business circumstances can change. The service is provided as available. We may suspend abusive accounts or access that threatens the service. We will post material service or terms changes here and communicate material billing changes before they take effect where required. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
